Fixing a Broken Instrument!
Please have your child bring your broken instrument to Mr. Kozian first!
I will try to fix the instrument so your child can continue to play in class. If I can not fix it, I recommend the options found below. Have your child keep the mouthpiece (brass) & mouthpiece, reeds and ligature (woodwinds) as I will give them a school-owned instrument to use while their instrument is being repaired.

If you rent from Marshall Music, take it to the Marshall Music store in Portage. They are open Monday-Friday, 10:00a-6:00p and Saturday, from 10:00a-3:00p.
Marshall Music will fix your instrument in most cases, free of charge!
Meyer Music Rentals
If you own your instrument, take your instrument to Tim's Band Instrument Repair Service! Tim is the head repair technician for Kalamazoo Public Schools. He works from his home in Schoolcraft. Tim does a great job and is inexpensive. Call Tim before you drop off your instrument (679-4585).
If you rent from Meyer Music, take it to the Meyer Music store in Kalamazoo (4120 Stadium Drive). They are open Monday-Thursday, 10:00a-6:00p, and Friday/Saturday, from 10:00a-5:00p.
